Ashanti Region:Oforikrom MP Gives To Municipal Health Directorate

In a move to ensure the smooth administration of health care delivery in the Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Hon. Dr Emmanuel Kwabena Marfo has presented office equipments to the Oforikrom Municipal Health Directorate.

The donation was also aimed at encouraging staff of the health directorate, who had previously complained to the Member of Parliament for lack of office equipments.

The office equipments, estimated at an amount of GH¢75,192.00 includes Swivel Chair with headrest, swivel chairs, office desk with drawers, HP printer, 1.5 HP Air-condition and 2.5 AP Air-condition.

Presenting the items, The MCE for Oforikrom Municipal Hon. Abraham Kwame Antwi who made the donation on behalf of the MP explained that they were touched by the lack of basic office equipment at the health directorate to help staff go about their daily work activities after an official request by the municipal health director Dr Nana Akua Afriyie Bafana.

He was optimistic the equipments would go a long way to assist in them with in their duty delivery.

Dr Nana Akua Afriyie Bafana, the Oforikrom Municipal Health Director in other words expressed joy over the items being donated to his half to carry out their daily activities.
