Atwima Kwanwoma MP Donates To Kwanwoma Health Center
The Deputy Defense Minister, Kofi Amankwah Manu who is the Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency in the Ashanti Region has facilitated for the donation of health equipment to furnish Kwanwoma Health Center at Foase.
The Atwima Kwanwoma legislator is said to have liaised with some NGOs from the Later Days Saint Church outside the Country which led to the donation of the hospital equipment today.
Speaking after a short ceremony to officially hand over the hospital equipment to the health center,Mr Amankwah Manu indicated that ,the said health center in the area was lacking equipment needed for quality health care in the community and it adjoining communities.
He said,his outfit is poised in ensuring that the people of Kwanwoma receive quality health care which according to him gingered to secure foreign donations.
He revealed that,the donation made by the later Day Saints will prevent patients from traveling outside the community to receive health care.
Some of the equipment donated to the facility were beds, drugs, PPEs, other useful machines to boost the quality health care in the area.
He however assured Ghanaians of better policies under the Nana Addo led government .
He indicated that the government will restore every penny that has lost within some years with massive social interventions.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital,Dr Adomako, Atwima Kwanwoma health director promised to keep them save and sound for it to serve its intended purpose
Nana Kwaku Agyei Barima, Atwima Foase krontihene also expressde appreciation to the officials of Later Day Saint for their immense contributions towards the development of the area.
He urged the staff of the hospital to continue serving their patients with humility and dedication.
