CHIEF CUTS SOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PALACE AT DOMEABRA
The Paramount chief of Domeabra traditional council in the Asante Akyem North District Baffour Owusu Bediako on Sunday,11th June 2023, cut sod for construction of ultra modern Palace for the town.
The project when completed would pave residents easy access to the paramount chief.
The facility will have sleeping room for the chief,offices, reception, washroom and a dressing room.
Addressing residents during the sod-cutting ceremony, the Paremount chief (Omanhene) for Domeabra, Baffour Owusu Bediako, reiterated his commitment to make Domeabraman fastest growing area.He also promised to ensure litigation free and rather do his maximum best to maintain cordiality among them.
According to Nana Domeabra,one of his major priorities is to bring education to the doorsteps of individuals within his juricdiction. “It has become necessary to expand the education in the area so that residents will not travel far to seek for quality education.
The Paramount chief (Omanhene) urged the community to provide the needed assistance to his team most especially the contractor to complete the project on time.
On behalf of Municipal and District chief executives and the members of parliament, Hon Osei Kyei Mensa Bonsu , the majority leader at the parliament who was present at the event as representative of aspiring 2024 NPP Presidential Candidate(vice presidident Dr Mahamadu Bawumia) commended the Paramount Chief for the loudationand innovative and promised to construct some kilometres roads which has become an albatross to the good people of Domeabra and Asante Akyim north respectfully.
He added that, the project it will be needed support to ensure the project is completed successfully.
In attendance were,Nana Nkansa Boadu Ayeboafo,chief of Agric Nzema,Nana Sarfo Ankaa Agyei Tabi,Juaso Manhene,Nana Appia Agyei Frimpong ,Kyekyebiase hene among others.
On her part,the seretary to the Domeabra paramouncy, Madam Akua Yeboah expressed gratitude to all who responded to their short invitation most especially,the media, members of parliaments, Nananoom, mmdces all members present for thei donation and participation.
