MMDCES IN ASHANTI ASKED TO CONTRIBUTE GHC100,000 TOWARDS THE VICE PRESIDENT’S TO ASHANTI REGION

All Metropolitan,Municipal and District Assemblies in the Ashanti Region have been asked to cough a whopping amount of Ghc100,000 towards the Vice President’s campaign tour of the Ashanti region which is not an official one.

Many of these Assemblies who are already struggling to meet the huge demands of their Districts especially in these times of rains are therefore surprised that they will have to go through this stress.

The MMDCES who spoke on conditions of anonymity says this not right especially since the tour is not an official one.
