The Case For ‘Competence and Favour’; Dr. Bawumia is A Discovery In The NPP, Not An Invention By The NPP

History has proven that it doesn’t always take one’s association with the crowd to attain higher heights within the global leadership trigeminy. What history confirms, however, is the combination of competence and the favour of getting spotted at the right time.

I actually got stunned this morning to read, in a remembrance documentary that, the much tauted pride of the Arab World, the Son of the Pharoeland (Egypt) who rose to become the Chief Scribe to the United Nations, Dr. Boutros Boutros Gari, was actually a Catholic. Wow, so interesting a history to read!!!

In fact, this revelation got me occupied since morning trying to ascertain whether my unflinching support for Alhaji Dr. Bawumia’s presidency in 2024 must have come from a sacred order of my Creator, Jah Rastafari.

And yes, I appear to be on the right path. Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is indeed a product of competence and favour supported by strong pillars of practical history and spiritual wisdom.

If one takes critical look through the ancient history, you could understand many, including David, were picked ahead of people who felt it was their turn to ascend thrones then. Contemporary history also supports that of the late Dr Kofi Annan, who got elected as the United Nations Secretary-General at a time his country’s population could only be ascribed tiny amongst the comity of nations present to elect their Leader, the UN Sec-Gen. To cap it all, Jesus Christ, the hope of the Christian faith, had his birth, and life on Earth, vehemently challenged because some ‘old folks’ felt their long-await kingship could be jeopardized by the coming of Jesus, the new born, from Nazareth, the hopeless city they had thought could produce nothing good.

Fellow Patriots of the great Elephant family, particularly those of our cherished Electoral The Case For ‘Competence and Favour’; Dr. Bawumia is A Discovery In The NPP, Not An Invention By The NPP, and to even those who, unconsciously, may have found yourselves wanting on the Island of repetitive challenge to God’s spotted one with competence and favour, Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, please be guided by your own curiousity to seek more knowledge on this, and try to discover those history which had been covered. At least, every true christian understands that God chooses who His kings and leaders should be without recourse to age and time spent in a group or on earth.

Scientifically, Discovery is not invention. Whilst invention is an addition to life, discovery is life’s found treasure that was covered with time and/or history, and has been dis-covered (uncovered).
Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is a Discovery. What this means is that he is NPP’s treasure which was covered, and we uncovered him in 2008. He is not an invention by the NPP. His presidency bid is grounded on the firm pillars of competence, dedication to duty, and the favour of the spotting-eyes of God through men of wisdom. This is the history the Dankwa-Dombo-Busia tradition had followed throughout history.

All other persecutions are to prepare the way and to make history take its ordained path of life.
